Firoza is the turquoise the cloth is dyed in, and it is the reason this one works. The painting is a riverbank at the end of the day: a tall tree in yellow-green, a thatched boat-hut moored under it, water hyacinth on the far bank, and clouds turning pink above.
Because the ground is already a strong colour, the paint sits on it rather than in it, and the greens read brighter than they would on white. It is the loudest of the four and the one to wear when the point is to be seen.

Care
Hand wash the first time, cold water, no soaking. Painted cloth does not like being left wet, so wash it and hang it. Dry in shade, never in strong sun. Iron on the reverse and keep the iron off the painting itself.
