Gulbahar – Pink and Blue Block Print Three Piece

This is the loud one, and it is meant to be. The kameez is a strong pink covered in orange and white block printing, with the pattern set in vertical bands so it lengthens rather than widens.

Against it the dupatta goes the other way completely, a clear blue with its own paisley print. Pink and blue together is an old Bengali pairing and it still works better than anything safer.

What is in the set

• Kameez: voile cotton, unstitched, three quarter sleeve
• Trousers: voile cotton,unstitched, plain pink
• Dupatta: cotton, 2.2 metres

Care

Wash each piece separately in cold water for the first two washes. Both the pink and the blue release colour at first. Dry in shade, iron on medium heat.
